The bead shop at Afflecks Palace Manchester sold these gorgeous Peace Stone Jasper leaves. They are slightly carved and have a lovely subtle pale green hue to them. After much reworking and twiddling I finally settled on finishing the bracelet using three of these beads as the focal. The bracelet originally had a large Unakite stone, then Crysocolla, then a Turquoise centre. I realised that it wasn’t so much the stone that was wrong but the setting, so set to work on redesigning the shape using more copper wire.
