I have been meaning to have a go at some different types of jewellery design for a while. I love all Ethnic inspired jewellery, aswell as Elven style pieces so decided to make a start with my designing a slave bracelet. I chose a neutral pallete instead of the usual turquoise that I seem naturally drawn towards. It seemed a bit weird at first but the softer colours do really appeal to me now.
The slave bracelet design took a bit of working out. The design has to sit and move on the hand comfortably so that meant plenty of linked moving parts.
I altered the boho bracelet – as this was an adjustable piece so would fit perfectly. The turquoise was replaced with earthy stones – Yellow cracked agate and African Yellow Opal. A dragon vein stone formed the centre link between the ring and cuff.
