So, after a little reworking I have finished the necklace. The brief was to incorporate the rose quartz pendant into a necklace design.
The Pink Rose Quartz stone looks lovely with the copper tones and the oxidising process gave a lovely pink tone to the metal which I am pleased about. I used super hot water with the Liver of Sulphur this time. I oxidised it to nearly completely black and used a little Brasso to remove the colour.
